MAÓ ALHEIMSDÓTTIR

Master of creative writing. A wanderer whose roots tangle what is polish and

what's icelandic. Her voice can guide you through glaciers and

mountains. In 2021, Maó received a New Voices Grant for her

 introspective book "Veðurfregnir og Jarðarfarir".

She is studying connections between sound and image through

performative installation. Maó spends a significant amount of her time

in the outdoors.
